I was in an antique store today and spotted this. I have a few vintage Japanese cast iron teapots, but they are all glazed on the inside, so no good for boiling water. This one is a bit larger and unglazed, so I can use it on the stovetop.
It has a fair bit of rust inside, but the iron looks intact underneath. I’ll make restoring it a little weekend project.
