I do a lot of woodturning, anything from pens to large segmented bowls. I picked up a small metal lathe a while back to make bushings and the occasional add-on to a woodturning project. This weekend was snowing, blowing, and just in general a great time to be in the shop. I spent the day cleaning and adjusting the metal lathe. To check out if I made any gains I knocked out a quick tamper. I foresee a few more of these in the near future.
It is a bit short, dictated by the scrap acrylic I used, but plenty long for use.
