New Soap Review -Jolly Roger Shaving

First shave with the Jolly Roger Shaving soap & A/S. For the shave I used my 1948 English FB tech, Nacet blade, and my Simpson T2 brush.

Lather came up easy in the bowl and was was slick and creamy with a medium loft. The scent “Port Call” was nice however very light.

Shave went very well with 3 passes for a DFS. What I liked about the product is quality ingredients that did not cause any irritation (some soaps do) and produced great lather. The A/S was equally quality ingredients. My only wish was a stronger scent ( I am one that likes a stronger scent base). This will be in my soap rotation.

The scent is a very very light ocean smell. It is clean and soft. I do hate to say, but I am pulling this out of rotation now. The scent is cool but the strength is so faint that the a/s has no scent.

Agreed. I happen to really love a strong scent. I will likely PIF to someone that likes light scents.
