Hey Folks, I'm 22, My Beard is still Patchy. Just got a Safety Razor, Badger Hair Brush and some Real Shaving Company Cream. Any advice?

Aside from watching those videos to get the general feel for things, I'd very strongly consider getting a blade sampler pack. Razor blades are the kind of thing where nobody can tell you which brand you will like best. You've just got to try them for yourself. You can get them on BullGoose Shaving and West Coast shaving, among other places.

Get a blade sampler pack (as was suggested). Be cognizant of 1) Pressure, and 2) angle. You get the angle wrong and the pressure will suffer too. In time, these two ingredients will come together to get you to a BBS shave...one step at a time. Don't rush it. Your skin may feel irritated after a shave or get nicks and cuts. it's normal and nothing to be alarmed at. Keep at it (maybe with a day or so break in between to let skin heal), but it;s important to keep going. Aside from you, I believe that your skin also has to get used to this new method/blade/etc...

+1 on the Mantic video's, and the blade sampler goes without saying.

Just take your time when you do shave, use no pressure at all, and enjoy the process. :thumbup1:
