Excellent article for Newbies and even some seasoned shavers who might have a hard time cutting whiskers when getting on in age.
Now that has been done scientifically also in those days when shaving was more important in society. They have studied what happens and documented it for future generations to a least read. Gillette has a similar article and it matches what you have found also. Nothing has changed a whole lot other than equipment has improved some what possibly. It hits all the important parts of pre- shave, a lot of folks where never shown the proper way of shaving when cartridge razors come along and using a brush is superior to using your hands but every one is in a hurry to get out the door to go to work or ........
