all i know about the razor is that they sell from $69 to $100 on websites.

I have read no reviews for this particular razor, if it is truly a Solingen made product, it might be a decent razor, however, I take major issue with this:

THIS is one of the best razors you can find, shave ready out of the box!!! GUARENTEED!

There are no razors that I know of made today that could be considered truly shave ready fresh out of the box from the factory. It's simply not cost effective for a company to sell a razor in the shave ready state, as there is quite a bit of hands on time involved in honing a razor to make it shave ready.

In my opinion the likelihood of this razor being anything close to shave ready is nearly ZERO. I would send it off to a reputable honer before I ever thought about letting it touch my face.

Larry Andro of Whipped Dog Straights hones razors for the low cost of $13 including shipping; however there are many other honers on the board as well.

We were discussing this video the other day (but I can't presently locate the thread). The general consensus was that he uses really unorthodox grips on his straight razor, and seems to shave with a lot of pressure. It's can't be determined if the pressure is due to his strange technique, or due to the razor being dull.

yea that was the gold dollar that isnt shave ready but someone honed it for him. he does shave funny.

The first straight i bought was "shave ready" of the bay and from a haidresser, it now sits as a test piece for my honing, i even sent it out to be honed with no lucki really hope yours comes up trumps, i am quite weary about any razor made today, apart from dovo/ti as they never come up on any board as being good razors, again, get yours honed and report back as this may be a totally different outcome.
