New Proraso AS Splash, 400ml?

So I have been using the new Proraso Green Splash since just after it started showing up. I definitely like it enough to go for the larger bottle, and it should save some money in the long run and will save on ordering multiple smaller bottles. However, all the 400ml bottles I see look like the old style bottle/graphics and don't list the actual ingredients, so I am assuming they are not the new formulation. I am not really interested in picking up the old version, as I like the new one and I already have one discontinued AS to be disappointed about (Floid Blue...).

Has anyone seen the new formula in a 400ml size, or know if it will be offered?

I ordered and received one months ago. Probably back in Feb. or March 2012 from Shaving.ie. The website showed the old bottle style as well (like what I think you are seeing).... but to my surprise the 400 ml bottle that arrived was the new formulation with the new graphics. You could email Chris at Shaving.ie and ask him. They are out of Dublin, Ireland.... but I highly recommend them even with the shipping.

How different is the new Proraso from the old? As the old is my absolute favorite scent, and supplies are drying up.

If someone can tell the new from the old, they have a pallet in the same league as Gordon Ramsey.

I can't speak to the differences myself. I am new to this game, and the first AS I got was the old formula Proraso balm. By the time I got around to trying a splash, the new formulas were out, and the old was already fading away, so I didn't bother trying it.

That said, I really do love the new splash. Great scent, but doesn't linger much. I have to rub my face to get a whiff, and I shaved 2 hours ago. Some kick to it, and it feels great on the face.

I really can't tell a difference in the scent of the new to the old. I am still using up my bottle of the old, so I don't know how the new performs compared to the old. I think I've read people say less menthol and that they took out the allantoin (for skin soothing). I haven't done a hardcore comparison of the two..... but out of the bottle, they smell pretty much the same to me.

Good to hear! I've been trying to grab old formula off of the Bay, I guess I'll give the new formula a try!

The Italian Barber has the old 400ml formula. He said when he gets the new formula in 400ml, he will note that on the website.
