My dad just pulled out this unopened bottle of Cutty Sark. No clue the age. Any way to tell?

Looks some evaporated, but the seal is tight.

Ok. The only sort of date I found looks like it is on the I side of the label. My best guess is 1987. No other dates, tax stamps or anything on the bottom of the bottle to indicate a date. Next up: breaking the seal....... it was made for drinking after all. Will wait for a special occasion.

Ok, so that's a bottle of Scotch Whiskey. Maybe the angels took their share, maybe they didn't. Either way, here's what you're going to do...

1. Get a nice whiskey glass
2. Twist that cap off
3. Pour
4. Give it a gentle swirl to let it meet it's friend oxygen again
