New Lathering Concept: Supercharging!

This morning with the SOC boar I "ran out" of water again, but I added another tablespoon before lathering and I got that super slick, slimy proto lather which works up beautifully. Again, what I'm looking for is not to build full lather on the soap but charge up the water with soap so it will lather up nicely on the face.

This was fun to try this morning. Had good results! I was flinging lather everywhere. My face wasn't big enough to paint all that lather on! haha

LabGuy, if you're already squeezing lather out of your brush, you're already doing a variant of this method, I think.

Your supercharging the water method is absolutely fantastic. I've used it for a variety of soaps since you first posted this technique, including MWF and Tabac, with superb results. Perfect lather every time whether using a badger, boar, or synthetic brush knot.
