If I was to start my wet-shaving journey from the scratch and had to chose a DE to start with, it'd be Feather AS-D2 with Feather blades.

I started with a Timeless .95 OC, but now have moved on to a Blackbird OC which is absolutely magical. I'll be selling the Timeless in all likelihood, good as it is. The Bird is just that amazing. I also have a scalloped base for the BB too, but much prefer the OC.
