My dad is retired, and has been playing around with a lathe. He turned a couple of handles for me a while back, and since I'm in the sabbatical, I couldn't put them together because I only have 2 knots. One was a TGN omega boar, and the other was a misfit silvertip that was over sized on the glue knob. Anyway, I was able to finish the first 2, and put the omega boar in one. The ace knot wouldn't fit anything, so I was out of luck.
Yesterday, I received another set of handles, including one large enough for the Ace knot. Here's my stock so far:
I have the Ace knot sitting in the far right handle, and when the other 4 are finished, they will look just like the first 2. The bummer is that I can't buy any knots due to the sabbatical, and I have these cool handles sitting around. Anyway, I thought I'd share.
