What's new

New find.

Found this old W&B today in an antique shop here in town. She's not a real looker and I have no plans on any major clean up. She had a pretty large chip and I had to take around 1/16 off of it. That kind of sucked but at least now it can be once again put into action. Got the bevel set and I'll get her honed up here in the next couple of days, probably on a coti.

Yeah, they need some moisture put to them that's for sure. The blade in now 6/8, still a very respectable size.

Once you do, some beeswax rubbed in will really make those scales shine (and retain adequate moisture).

Nice find.
