NEW Feather

My pack of Feathers arrived from Thailand.
Due to the recent interest in new vs old, thought I'd post some pics and my opinion of how they shave compared to the "yellow" Feathers.
They look like the same blade, (including the feather logo on the blade). However, I think there alittle smoother. Still as SHARP as before.
My 100 blades consisted of 20 plastic dispensors, (with blade disposal on bk) in a compact sleeve.
Ordered them June 8, (very late but still the 8th), and they arrived today! Not bad from Thailand.
Still has alot of wax but not on the edge.

B & B member pureslab selling them in the shaving mall. Wanted to try the "new style". And I thought they were pretty cheap, $35/100 delivered

Interesting card in the plastic container... very similar to the Shogun blade graphic which (I've read) is thought to be made by Feather as well. I guess there's the confirmation.

You do not want to see the pile of running-free/open packages razor blades that I have in the den... I need to use them instead of doing a use 1 and then open another package...

Thats 2 funny, I try to convince my self that each razor takes a "special" blade.

No. Shogun blades are made by Lord. And they are as dull as a Dorco. Not at all like a Feather or a Kai.

Huh. Are we talking about the same blade? I've used Shoguns and found them to be as sharp and as irritating as feathers. Plus, the graphics are very similar.

Never found Feathers to be irrating! My inexperience at first was a problem with them but they are wonders on my beard now!

I hated the one Shogun blade I tried. It was dull and tugged rather than cut. I looked closely at the packaging and it said it was made by Lord.

I can't say for sure that there isn't more than one type of blade manufactured and sold under the name "Shogun," but the one I had was definitely a Lord blade and I didn't like it at all.
