Wow. I have a few pipes, but no "high-end" stuff until now. I loaded up some 1Q and it just smoked perfectly all the way to the bottom, right out of the box, with minimal effort on my part. Now I know what they mean when they say a pipe smokes itself. PAD is seriously through the roof right now. I have a feeling my cigars are going to spend a lot of time aging in the near future.

I noticed that, as well. I have trouble with my others a lot of the time. This one is just so...easy.

i would do the honey and crushed tobacco on this one for sure before it it smoked, that is bare briar

Man, these things are REALLY good. I've been getting nice cool smokes to the bottom of the bowl every time. I can't wait 'til they get a good cake built up. The 1Q is working pretty nice as a break-in.
