What's new

New Brush day!

After reading about some lovefor boar brushes I decided that I should pick up a decent boar and give it a go; So yesterday I recieved my new Semogue 1305 boar brush.

This thing is great! I can't wait to break it in, the backbone it has is really nice. And you cant beat the price! It was only $19.00 from Lee's!

My only complaint is that the handle is too big for my brush stand, so it has to dry standing up.

no pics right now, I'm at work.. I'll post a pic later.

Any other Semogue owners out there?

HI Bill I have 2: the 2000 and 830 love em both and all my boars dry standing up. The 1305 is next on my list!

Bill,
Semogue makes the best boar brushes. You should try the 830. It is even better than the 1305. i know you will enjoy the brush and it should break in around 15-20 shaves with proper drying time.
Welcome to the SBC (Semogue Boar Club)! Hehe. By the way, i have tried all their boar brushes and they are fantastic, but i prefer the smaller knots as i face lather, exclusively. The SOC boar is a fantastic brush if you bowl lather, but works very well for face lathering.

Congrats on the new 1305. The great part is that it will continue to improve as the ends split with regular use. BTW, I have 3 Semogue boar brushes and really like each one.

I don't have a 1305, but do own a 1460, 1470 and 1250. An 1800 will eventually make it into that list.
