Had a bit of free time while using my father-in-law’ workshop the past 2 weeks. Made a few brush handles. Also made some boxes for some 6x2x1” Washita stones purchased in the past year.
First thought - it’s harder than I had suspected to make a box and have it come out professional looking. But in the end the boxes are done and a label that had accompanied one of the stones is now attached to the box lid. But did add hinges and a latch, which IMO is an improvement over the typical whetstone box.
Made a 3rd one out of the leftover scraps, so I guess I *need* another whetstone!
