New Blade Day

I never pictured myself getting excited to work through a sampler pack of razor blades.

And yet, here we are!

yup! nor did I. But now I can't get enough of trying new blades! I just love sample packs!

I was excited until I tried the Astra SP's. After the first shave I ordered 100 and they are my primary blade. I continue to use the other blades that came with the sample pack every couple of weeks; I always confirm that the ASTRAs give me the best results. YMMV.

Astra SP was my second blade (the one I just replaced), and I ALMOST pulled the trigger on 100. But then I did the math on my blade sampler, and at my current consumption, it's going to last me a year.

Trying to see how far I can push each blade, so it's taking a while to get to a new one. Today I said hello to a Gillette 7 o'clock, in Green!

You are probably OK . The universe is going to end in 361 days. December 31, 2013 is the final day shown on the calendar my bank just gave me. The Mayans were just off a little bit.
Of course my bank did make an error once before when they gave me cheques that I could still use after my money ran out.

I'm still working on my sample pack. Coming up on two years now but my problem is I keep buying 100 packs and then adding a 5 or 10 pack to the sampler.

Sample packs are dangerous for me. They just make me want to buy more blades! Am doing the 2013 Sabbatical, so I won't even look at shaving websites now. I know I'm weak.
