The USPS (and Krona Kruiser) were very, very good to me today.

I had a hard time finding a New Long Comb that was user grade, but without too much plate loss. Someone here said I should reach out to Krona Kruiser. Not only did he have what I wanted at a reasonable price, the razor is gorgeous. Seriously, it looks like nickel-plated sex.

I had only one razor a few weeks ago, and what a drab, wretched life that was.

I have a New Long Comb with Krona Kruiser right now, I should have it back, soon.

I can't WAIT! My NEW is my best shaving razor. Its mild yet as close as my Slim set to 9! I'll be honest though, I love the Slim, as well!

Looking very nice! Krona might get a pretty rough Fatboy I have to work his magic on... That will round out my easy to find Adjustable Gillette collection (for now)

Here is my inner monologue from this morning:

"Dennis, switching razors when you are trying to develop your technique is a bad idea."
"Dude, stick with the Fat Boy. It's great and you are getting good shaves with it."
"Look at that New! I should try it. No! Bad idea."

But since I am a crazy person with poor impulse control, I ignored my advice and went for the New.

Wow, a surprisingly nice 3-pass DFS.

The alum block says I didn't always have my angle just right, but no nicks or weepers. Also, this is the best result I think I've ever had on my chin and the area just under it.

Whoa... that is beautiful. Kudos to Kona Kruiser... and some day I hope to send off a few of my vintage razors to him to spruce up.

I just received a newly replated Old Type head from Krona Kruiser and a newly replated complete Otto Roth (Gillette New LC) from him. Prices were very reasonable. Yours looks beautiful, and the ones I received are great too. I will post pics later this weekend. I'm off to shave for the first time with a New LC and get my hair cut.
