What's new

New Arko shaving cream

I visit to Evyap offical website, apparrently the regular have been discontinued and replaced by new product called extra performance.
They should make new variants for their shaving cream line.In cream line page,it says for those who cant give up the joy of using a brush.

Is this a rebranding or a reformulation?
could it be a tragedy of AoS proportions? Well at least a far, far cheaper tragedy....

That's good. I think they really needed to change Arko Regular. For me, Arko Regular is the worst brush cream I've tried. I think of it as "Nicks Galore". The only worse creams I've come across are the lousy US made brushless creams I own (Burts Bees, Dr. Lewinns etc).

Renato

Really? I think Arko creams are at least as good as their soap. And I like their soap a great deal. IMHO, Arko creams are one of the best values in shaving. I am going to have to make a point to hit a local Metroplex vendor who stocks plenty of Arko to see if the new cream has made its way to Texas.

Thanks for the head's up.

I like the extra sensitive, It is not the extra performance stuff. I would be curious to know what has changed. I like the creams so much I have gone on a tubed cream buying frenzy.

Are you saying there's a Metroplex dealer who stocks Arko? That would be great - can you tell me the who and where?

Hopefully SmoovD can come in and verify but I think he may be referring to Salon Supply in Fort Worth.

He is indeed, I've been there myself on his recommendation. They have Arko sticks, but the only creams I could find when I was there were Regular and Adventure. Same with the aftershave balm. They have a few different Derby creams, too. However, they did have the full line of Master and Pinaud aftershaves, as well as Lucky Tiger. I need to get back there again soon to see what's different.

It's in a sketchy neighborhood, though, and the building is easy to miss. It's worth a trip, though.
