NEW Aqua Velva Commercials

Watching NBC Nightly News just a few minutes ago, I saw what I think is a brand new Aqua Velva commercial. Has anyone seen these? (I tried the search function but found only reference to the classic commercials).

Have I just been missing these due to not being "into" the subject until recently, or is this in fact a new thing. Anyone?

Aqua Velva has always tried to maintain a television ad presence whereas the other classic brands don't (barring Old Spice, though their focus seems to be as far away from their "classic" line as possible).

I've seen the new commercials, and I applaud Williams/Combe for keeping them coming.

If you're talking about the father/son one, yep, that's pretty cool. Glad to see they are keeping the classic alive and still have some class in doing so. I agree with Rob; Old Spice should take notice.

One thing I'll say for Old Spice's commercials--Bruce Campbell is fantastic.

Can you describe the ad? The newest one I've seen is the father/son ad, mentioned by Hank. Was it that one, or is there a newer one?

Good find with that Lone Ranger one, although I still think my favorite is the one with Lainie Kazan.

Nope, there is a newer one, but for the life of me I can't remember any specifics. It plays about three times a day, too. I promise to pay attention next time.

Wow, I just found out I've been pronouncing "aqua" wrong for years.

Yes, that's the one I saw. A newer one Rob? I'll have to keep my eyes open for it. Thanks for all the responses (sorry for my late reply!) Great stuff with those classics, I'd forgotten about the Lone Ranger and Tonto ad!

I saw that commercial the other night. I'm not a big TV person but wondered if there were always AV commercials because I couldn't recollect ever seeing one before. I think it is great that the classics still run commercials.

I haven't caught this one on tv yet. I'm glad they dropped the jingles, but that is one large bathroom.

Love the new AV ads. I miss the classic Old Spice ones that they ran around Chirstmas and Fathers day.

I saw it again the other day. The version out now is the same one as the guy chucking the bottle at his kid, but that scene is suspiciously absent. Maybe some Combe reps were browsing through the forum and noticed our derisive comments.
