Second shave with the Green Cult SB DE razor - this time with a much better match in the handle and blade departments. The Ti handle provides a more appropriate balance, while still reducing the (considerable) weight of the stock handle. The overall weight is heavier than my preferred DE razors and, as a result, it is not as nimble and maneuverable. Plus, the Feather blade seems to be a much better match. Today's shave was much more comfortable and in sync with my shaving preferences. Medium/high efficient + medium smooth + medium/low nimble and maneuverable = a moderately effective razor. Comparable to my Alpha and Big Dog razors? Nope, but the Green Cult DE is a bargain for the $45 selling price. Much better, for my face, skin and beard than the similarly priced Henson and Winning razors. Not bad.....not too bad at all.

Same Brush, Soap, Aftershave and Fragrance as yesterday. Very satisfying!

The Nimble & Maneuverable attributes of a razor are very important to me. The Green Cult is efficient and fairly smooth, but the weight of the head hinder the nimble & maneuverable attributes. More shaves are needed to focus on the differences and preferences.

First shave with the Claymore Evolution SB SE razor. For the inaugural shave, I matched the Claymore Evolution with the TiBam Antique Ti Handle and a Schick Proline AC blade. Really nice balance between the Evolution head and the Ti handle. The Schick Proline blade is a wonderful match for the Evolution. A very interesting AC razor. I normally wait until I have a couple or so shaves with a razor before going out on a limb, but the Claymore Evolution is an impressive razor. The Claymore Evolution is "deceptively efficient" - it sliced throughmy chaotic and wiry beard with almost zero audible feedback and no irritation. Results, using my 3-Pass + Touchup Pass process are excellent. My overall performance rating: medium/high efficient + very smooth + medium/high nimble & maneuverable = a highly effective razor that is a pleasure to use. Will need additional shaves to place the Evolution in the Big Dogs or the Runs With the Big Dogs Category. In either case, a very pleasant and effective shave!

For shave number two with the Claymore Evolution SB SE razor, I used the same TiBam Antique Ti Handle and a Schick Proline AC blade as yesterday. To reiterate, the Claymore Evolution is an impressive razor. Shave number two results, using my 3-Pass + Touchup Pass process, were at least as excellent as yesterday's shave. Confirmed my overall performance rating: medium/high efficient + very smooth + medium/high nimble & maneuverable = a highly effective razor that is a pleasure to use. Leaning toward placing the Claymore Evolution in the Big Dogs Category. A very pleasant, competent and effective razor!

The @Rudy Vey 2022 B&B Contributors Brush (Mühle 25mm STF) is awesome! Excellent performance!

My shave with the Frankenrazor SLOC/R41 was quite good. The SLOC cap retains all of the R41 efficiency, eliminates most of the blade chatter and improves overall smoothness. Very nice shave!

The @Rudy Vey B&B 2020 Contributors Handle (TNS 24mm Original BOSS knot) is a fantastic brush! Performs wonderfully!

WSP Formula T Tobacco runs with the best soaps in my Den. Easy to lather. Exceptional performance. Great face feel!

I really like VIBR Aftershave and Volatile EdT Spray a lot - in combination with each other or in other combinations. Very bold and satisfying!

Yes I do.

Both caps are highly efficient, reasonably smooth and reasonably nimble and maneuverable = very effective razors.

Given that, I find the Yintal/R41 to be slightly smoother which translates to slightly more effective. But not by much.

Thank you for doing the heavy lifting on both of these Frankenrazors. I plan on keeping them in the Den.

And the Yintal cap on an R41 with the handle from a GSC R41+, which matches the color of the Yintal cap perfectly. Looks really cool:
