Looking forward to reading your experience with this one. I too have a mixed ATT (Aluminum head & Bamboo stainless handle). And I have the .91 SB, .58 OC and .25 SB plates!
This razor with the .91 SB plate has to be my hands down most blade forward and aggressive razor.
But I love it!

I really like my ATT Mixed Metal Stainless/Copper/Titanium DE razors.

This will be the SE1 Stainless Cap, SE1 Aluminum Plate and TiBam New York Ti Handle. This combination feels good in hand. We'll see how good it feels in use.

Above The Tie SE comparison week continues: Up to bat for today's shave, the Mixed Metal (Stainless Cap, Aluminum Plate, Titanium Handle) SE1 razor using the Kai Captain Titan Protouch MG blade.

• Highly efficient, cruises through whiskers.
• Smooth, medium weight but still heavy enough to let the razor do the work. Less apt to overshave areas as long as no additional pressure is applied.
• Medium nimble and maneuverable, better than the full stainless - still some issues navigating my problem areas.
• Very Predictable, didn't feel like it was going to bite me at all.
• Very effective. Like the other SE1 variants close to my top group of AC blade razors.

Definitely a fun razor. The ATT Mixed Metal SE1 is a very high performing razor. I like the ATT Mixed Metal SE1. It's an excellent razor that will very probably be in the upper half of the Big Dogs Category.

Happy Thanksgiving !

A couple of random thoughts.....

So far, the Stainless SE1 head plus Ti handle seems to be the one I would reach for first. Interesting. The weight of the Mixed Metal (Stainless Cap, Aluminum Plate, Titanium Handle) is more comfortable in my hand.

Also, efficiency is pretty much the same with all of the SE1 iterations. Been shaving with some form of SE1 for three days in a row and my face is still very much alive. Maybe the SE1 can be used successfully every day?

• Highly effective. This SE1 variant is very close to my top group of AC blade razors.

Above The Tie SE comparison week continues: Up to bat for today's shave, the Stainless SE1 razor matched with Doug’s GTC 25g handle and the Kai Captain Titan Protouch MG blade I've been using all week. My notes reflect not only the Stainless SE1 I used today, but also discussion about the various SE1 razors I've used this week.

• Every one of the SE1 variants has been highly efficient.
• For the smoothness attribute, the all Stainless head and the Aluminum Cap + Stainless Plate (both with either a GTx or Ti handle) are smooth and less apt to overshave areas.
• The all Stainless Head is medium nimble and maneuverable. The Aluminum Cap + Stainless Plate is a bit better than medium.
• All of the SE1 variants are Predictable. I didn't feel like any of them were going to jump up and bite me at all.
• The all Stainless Head and the Aluminum Cap + Stainless Plate are both highly effective razors.

The ATT Stainless SE1 I shaved with today (paired with either Doug’s GTx or one of the various Titanium handles) is a very high performing razor and will undoubtedly be in the Big Dogs Category.

Last day of my ATT SE1 comparisons. The Aluminum Cap + Stainless Plate Mixed Metal, paired with one of Doug's GTx 25g handles is right at the top for my face, skin and beard. The all Stainless Head, paired with one of Doug's GTx 25g handles or one of my favored Ti handles is right there and I could use either one of them every day. Are they as good as my Top 4 AC blade razors? Maybe not quite or maybe my Top 4 becomes a Top 6. Haven't made up my mind yet.

Back to the Colonial Razors The General V2 for Single Edge Sunday. Especially when paired with the Schick Proline P blade and Doug’s GTC 25g handle, The General V2 is the closest AC razor in my Den to the Vector. So close that it is my Honorable Mention Alpha Big Dog AC Blade Razor. Bottom line: I would be happy shaving with The General V2 every day!

The EJ Synthetic Silver Tip is one of my favorite brushes using the STF knot!

This week's Lather, Aftershave and Fragrance will be Martin de Candre Nature, Pinaud Clubman Lilac Vegetal and Belcam G2bu. A wonderful combination that is very pleasing to the senses!
