What's new

Never saw this before

I was browsing vintage shaving brushes on ebay and came across this. I could find any other reference to Squibb's shaving brushes, though there are some old ads for shaving cream online. Even more unusual is the swastika on the brand imprint, since this looks roughly 1940s vintage. Anyone else seen this brand?

The swastika used to be a very common sight. The western world banished it in the late 30's and 40's for obvious reasons, but it's still widely used in the eastern world.
It was a symbol of good luck, and spirituality.
The swastika and the thunderbird were both Indian symbols that the Okla. Nat’l Guard used. Since Oklahoma used to be Indian Territory, we still use a lot of Indian symbols in things official.
