Need some help to identify this straight - something R & Yeomans

I can't remember where I bought this razor. I guess this is a shoulderless straight razor. I don't know where it's made so I'm hoping someone can help me out here. The tang has a partially faded stamp and it says something "...R & YEOMANS". Here's a couple of photos. Thank you.

I don't know what it is, but, based on the tang, it's probably *very* old (and appears to have ivory scales). Could you post a picture of the grind?

Looks English. Definitely Ivory scales. A lot of wear on it. Probably started out as a 5/8 or 6/8". As danjared says the tang looks old. I don't have my razor guide near me, but tails that short usually mean 1860-1880 if memory serves me well.

Can't help you on maker, but looks like it was made well. Probably very hard steel.

Ah, a wedge. I figured. It looks to me that it doesn't have much wear, especially for how old it is.

I mean... It's worthless... send that to me for proper disposal. Pretty please?

Thanks gentleman. You're right the razor shows some hone wear and the blade is 11/16" at the thickest point and narrowing to 5/8" near the tip just before it curves up. This is pretty exciting news. I wasn't sure if they were ivory scales but thanks for confirming that.

Tell you what. If I ever sell this I'll give you first dibs!
