I'm having a hard time deciding on a razor for my dads birthday. I want to get him an outstanding razor for his birthday. I prefer to get him something new, any help would be great!

Welcome to B&B and Happy B-day to your dad. Depending on your budget i would go Titan, Tradere or Joris. These are all high end modern razors that seem to be popular and really are effective and not just hype. I prefer the Joris [ made by Plisson in France], followed by the Titan [ made by B&B trusted vendor Stan at Above the tie.com] , and finally the Tradere razor [ made by B&B Vendor Richard at Tradere .com]

Tell us a little more. Is your dad currently using a DE? If so, what kind? How long has he been? Does he have more than one? What is his inventory? Also, what is your budget?

Yes he has been for about two years. He has a weber DLC, muhle 41, a jagger, and a few older ones. He really likes the weber so im looking for something thats a heavy weight and an amazing shave. I'm not concerned with budget, I just want to get him something really nice.

I know you prefer something new but how about a razor from his birth year/quarter, refinished/plated in an exotic metal?
How about an adjustable? The Mergress is a beauty. Might be a little hard to find in a short time though. If he is more modern then I'd second the Futur. For more of a show piece type then the Trader. It's next on my list.
