Need soap recommendation: Slick and protective for neck

It's not cheap, but Blue Devil Soap Company shave soap produces the most protective lather I have ever used. It's just amazing.

Blue Devil is a very very nice soap.
I’ve used Lust on occasion and pair it with Clubman aftershave.

I found it easy to build a dense and slick lather; very luxe to me.
