All right folks. I need a suit for my little brothers wedding. I'd prefer to wear brown leather with it, but if need be I can do black. So I'm looking for sugestions on color/type of suit. If I can wear brown, I'll be wearing cowboy boots, if black I have black lace up boots. I'd rather not wear shoes. So, what do y'all suggest?

The only suggestion I can make is do not wear black to a wedding
If the wedding is in the warmer months then a lighter brown suit would be fine (I assume you're not in the wedding party?). I've got a very nice lightish brown Ralph Lauren suit. I wore it today actually as it was 34 degrees in Melbourne. It looked very smart with my brown Lloyds shoes.
+1 I wear a suit every day of my life and a nice medium to light brown suit would be just fine. I have a nice chocolate brown suit in fact and it's my favorite of all the suits I have.

A plain medium gray or charcoal gray suit will be good for other occasions besides just the wedding. I wouldn't recommend a brown suit unless you already have a closet full of suits. With the plain gray, you wear it with your boots to the wedding if you want, then use it later for all sorts of other things...it will be very versatile.
Black suits are for funerals and waiters. That or 22 year olds at dance clubs. Avoid them for the wedding or anything else.

i remember i wore my black with gray pinstripe suit to my cousins wedding, white shirt with slightly bluish taint and a bright red tie, after the 3rd person pointing at me i decided to go tie less, no more mafia for me,
