I picked up this old gillette at an antique store. It says patent no on box. Unfortunately the box didn't come with it. Theres some discoloration on the head, I assume its brassing. Whats the best way to clean it? I assume that its from the NDC years. Any guesses? Thanks

It's a fat handled tech.
Scrubbing bubbles or equivalent bathroom cleaner is usually sufficient.

The fat handle tech you have there was made sometime between 1938 and 1950. Gillette started date coding them in 1951. The plating on those didn't hold up very well.
Hey, I have one of those, and the gold plating is kind of spotty on mine too.
