Need an opinion on knot purchase please.

Existing hole is 27.5mm, I'm going to use a TGN Finest Badger, any chance a 26mm will go, or do I need to drop down to 24mm? Anyone ever used one of their 26's and have an idea of the glue bump size?
I don't want to open the hole any larger on this one.

I think I would email them or call them and request the max size.

I've not ordered that size before but I think there's no harm in talking to them and trying to figure out what is the best way to order what you need.

They tend to run truer to size than knots off eBay from China directly but you never really know until you have one in hand.

Only once have I ever encountered a glue bump on a TGN finest. A 26mm should fit perfectly, but as @bakerbarber mentioned, "you never really know until you have one in your hand." I routinely put a 24mm knot in a 25.4mm hole (1")

A 26 should fit and if not it should take minimal effort to enlarge the hole what little would be needed.

I'm thinking the same, pretty sure I could make it happen. They haven't responded, so I sent another email.
