Need a travel brush....SOS

The wife and I are traveling for a week and this will be my first time as a wet shaver. The days of just packing the horrendous electric razor are behind me.
I would like to get a nice, soft travel brush, the type that comes in the tube.
I have already secured my travel razor. Its a 3 piece Track II type from Em's Place which is pretty awesome looking.
Any suggestions?

Crabtree and Evelyn has a nice travel brush/tube combo - its a pure and it is about $35. I made my own brush to go in the tube, with a 18 mm Silvertip A from TGn - sweet lil brush.

+1 on the Crabtree and Evelyn brush. I bought mine about two years ago and travel with it frequently. It's done a great job!

Any brush can be a travel brush, get a pill bottle from the local pharmacy and drill some holes in it for drying.

You can purchase a specific travel brush, but if you don't travel frequently it may not pay off for you.

Muehle makes a very nice nickel plated brass travel brush with best badger for a fairly reasonable price.

I picked up a cheap Omega boar brush from shoeboxshaveshop. I broke it in for a couple weeks and it is now nice and soft. Some of the boars come with a tube and stand. I would highly recommend the Omega boars. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

If you aren't set on a travel brush with a tube. The Body shop synthetic brush travels well. It's small enough to fit well in a Dopp bag and it dries in under a minute because of it's synthetic nature. I palm lathered a La Toja shave stick with it. Had a BBS shave with my slim adjustable in the lavatory of an A330 to Paris.

I would assume that this would be a Edwin Jagger. I found an EJ black travel brush online, probably the same thing.

I use a Small Edwin Jagger Super Badger brush for travel, which you can get for around $40. These are hands down better than the 'travel brushes' most places sell. If you're into aesthetics... grab the clear Muhle Brush Travel Tube from WCS for $5!

+ 1 for the Case. I just picked up one a couple of weeks ago and I really like it. It is a nice size for travel but can also be used at home. I have been using mine for face lathering shave sticks and it holds enough soap for 2-3 passes.

Like Phil said, any brush can be a travel brush. I used to have a small Vulfix that came in a case/tube. Then I decided I wanted to take one of my other brushes, and discovered that a modded shave stick tube (you can get empty ones from Mama Bear) works for most of the smaller brushes that I have decided I prefer. This won't work obviously if you are needing to lug along a Plisson Size 20, but all those shown fit & the tube is ventilated and more crush proof than the oft recommended toilet paper tube ..

These all fit (left to right) a Medium Edwin Jagger, Plisson #10, Rooney 3/1, Omega 80257, Alibaba Small, Shavemac DO1 Custom, Rooney 1/1.

Whips shaving cream or shaving soap into a copious lather. Synthetic bristles lift beard off of skin, to allow for the closest shave. Aluminum handle.

I jus picked up the tube alone for use with my custom Rudy Vey, which is almost identical in size. Works great! I use this as my only brush; but if you are not into small brushes for everyday use, the Case would make a very good travel brush that will likely outperform most turnback styles yet remains fairly compact.
