Need a Blade recommendation

Hi,

I've been wet shaving for about 6 months now and even use a straight razor when time permits.

I need a DE razor blade recommendation.

I have a new Muhle R41 (the older more aggressive version, untamed) and need a blade recommendation.

I am looking for something that is in between a Feather High Stainless Platinum Coated Blade on the sharp end and a Persona Platinum Red on the more mild end. I love the Feather, but in the R41 it is a bit too sharp so I'm looking for a blade that will be a little bit more tame.

Any recommendations would be great. I love the R41 and do not want to give it up.

what about the polsilver super iridium or maybe the voskhod. both are far smoother with the polsilver sharper them the vosk. or the gillette gsb still very sharp but smoother than the feather though can still be a bit much for some. ill also recc the rapira lux, astra sp, and maybe the lab blue personna. imo the polsilver ir is the best blade out there for a combo of smooth and sharp.

I enjoy using the Astra SP in my R41. Seems to be sharp enough and smooth enough to tame the beast

+1 for the Astra SP.

i would also suggest you check out some Super-Max Super Platinum. of course YMMV, but I know there are a lot of folks who like these and i recently picked some up and have been extremely happy with them so far, and I feel like they fit perfectly in the range you offered.

+1 Astra SP, I tried it first with a Derby but too tame the Astra is perfect for me YMMV

In general, I don't like Derby blades in most razors, but in my 2011 R41 (the more aggressive version also) they work amazingly well. I get 3 smooth shaves out of them in the R41 with no nicks.
