Natural hair styling products?

As a result of stumbling upon B&B about a year ago, I've been wet shaving, using fragrance, using natural toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo bars, etc. Pretty much the only thing left is my hair styling product. I've been using either some mousse or American Crew gel (light hold). I don't think I'm into the pomade thing. I just want something to give a little hold without looking oily/greasy....and the fewer chemicals the better.

Are there more natural(ish) products out there? I've tried looking around, but it's hard to know what is what.

"Natural" is not a synonym for "better," you know.
There's nothing wrong with using traditional products. I doubt you'd be able to find a natural hair styling product anyway, besides wax maybe.

Stop by any health food store and you will find a bunch, but I have just given up on using anything, and get a style that does not require it. Unless I am going out or somthing, but being middle aged that is only once every few months! (yea I am getting old an boring)

This brand is quite nice imo.. veyr natural and very effective,. just super expensive

they have a styling creme , sprays as well as other stuff!

Olive oil works well but, to avoid greasiness, use only a bare trace - maybe 1/4 of a drop or less. Experiment to find the right amount. It's impressive how a miniscule amount has such an effect.

I'd advise you look at Aveda Pure-Formance grooming Clay. Outstanding product, although it's on the expensive side.

Has a strong smell, but it smells very good (Aveda claims their products are aromatherapeutic).

Product is very soft and easy to apply. Gives a matte finish, although it just adds some sheen : hair looks healthy. The company seems also very transparent about how it sources its ingredients : http://www.aveda.com/discover/index.tmpl#section=ingredients

You can look for reviews, they seem to be very good about this product.
