I am so sad to post this. As most of you already know, I am the sole caregiver for my elderly father who lives with me. He has suffered many illnesses over the past several years, and his health continues to decline. He is a dialysis patient, as well as heart and lung patient, and a severe diabetic. He currently is in the hospital for amputation surgery.

Since his health continues to decline, his care requires more and more of my time. In the past, you have all been extremely gracious waiting for your orders to ship as I nursed my dad through his illnesses. I cannot continue to ask my customers to wait until I can find the time to make soaps and ship orders out. Therefore, I have decided to close down Nana June's Naturals. I am praying that it will only be temporary, but at this time, I cannot say for sure.

I will sell the items currently in my store as they are already in inventory. Once they are gone, then the store will be closed.

I want to thank each and every one of you for being such awesome customers and for making Nana June's such a huge success. I pray that God will bless each of you and keep you well. If you would like to reach me once my store is closed, my personal email address is [email protected].

I really appreciate all of the emails, thoughts, well-wishes, and prayers. This was such a tough decision for me. I love my soap-making and my customers so much. I have made some very dear friends over the past 5 years.

I'm so sorry to hear the news of your father's health and the closing. But, I can certainly understand the decision. As (I think) one of your "early adopters" around here, I can say how much I've enjoyed your products and will continue to do so until they're gone. Thankfully, I 'm well stocked on the shave soap and have a bath bar or two left.

More importantly, I send my prayer and thoughts for your father and you as well. This cannot be an easy time for either of you and I hope that things will be looking up sooner than later.

Potty Shaving Bowls!

A couple of months ago, I found some mugs/bowls shaped like a "toilet" and ordered several to sell in the Fall. Then, I completely forgot about them! They showed up on my porch on Saturday. I think they are the funniest mugs I have ever seen! The "toilet bowl" is the mug part. The handle is on the back under the "tank". The dimensions of the mug are approximately 4 inches across the top; 3 inches deep; and 2-1/2 inches across the bottom. My husband has already snagged one!

I will not be ordering any more to sell, obviously, since my shop is in the process of closing. I only have 9 available. Visit my store if you want one.

Again, I can't thank y'all enough for the prayers and emails and encouragement sent to our family. It has been a real comfort. I get on the forum and read y'alls posts, and y'all just crack me up some days - and I need that lately!

Daddy will be released to come home from the hospital around the 17th or 18th. So that will be the week that I close the shop on down. I have a few items still in. I am making small batches to use up as many of my supplies that I have on hand as possible before I store everything. Hopefully, as stated before, the close-down will be temporary. It will depend on Daddy's health and long-term care plans. Thanks, again.
