A new update of totals. I went through each post and created a spreadsheet with every listing. The only thing left out was if someone said "I like every TOBS cream", I didn't take the time to list each one. There were only a couple examples like that though. I DO NOT recommend anyone else do this. It took way longer than I expected lol. FYI, there were a total of 711 soaps listed that were included in my count. The majority only received 1 or 2 votes. I don't guarantee that these are 100% accurate, it is possible I missed one or two soaps. On to the results:

I Coloniali and I Coloniali cream was pretty good too. It's a shame the parent company stupidly stopped making it a few years ago. I believe Dan (R.I.P.) from APR liked the scent and performance of this soap too.

I rarely use it these days because I don't have any refill pucks but it's definitely a unique scent.

I can't speak for Pannacrema Nera because I missed out on the Ceramic jar and it would just mess up my set at this point to buy the Nera which is shame really. I ordered mine all the way directly from Italy/Pannacrema themselves to Australia many years ago when Verde first came out. I wish I had ordered the Nera too but it is what it is I guess. Maybe they will do them again some day for a limited edition anniversary release.

I think I can probably go down this rabbit hole for days because there are a lot of great scents out there.

I like Mitchells wool fat but the bar soap smells a lot nicer. IMHO

I own many of the highly-regarded sops/creams mentioned in this thread,
but if I had to pick my favorite scent, it would be SmN.

I dont own alot of soaps (about 6 different ones in total). I ordered the Proraso Red (already had the Proraso Green, which smells quite nice to me) because i was curious about how Sandalwood smells; i dont like the smell at all, to me it smells exactly like the inside of old ladies handbags, very sweet and powdery, really horrible. This kind of smell is really not what i personally want to smell when shaving.

Of course smell is totally something personal, but i was very disappointed.

I want to buy a really citrus smelling soap, but that to me has to smell very sharp and bitter, not sweet at all. I dont dare to buy anything anymore if i cant smell it beforehand, its just too personal apparently.

A lot of sandalwood soaps and AS have some other stuff in there, like florals. It sounds like you might prefer Wet Shaving Products sandalwood. It is just the sandalwood, and it definitely smells like wood.
