Mystery Razor - Aida?

Found this three piece razor this weekend at an Antique store. It weighs in around 80 grams, is 11.6 cm long. It is very shiny. The finish is stunning. Unfortunately someone seen fit to engrave their initials on all three pieces, and included a date (March 3rd 1967)on the comb part. Under the Head is stamped Aida in cursive. Between the length of the handle-109mm, and the heavy knurling, I wonder if it is a lady model.

As always, please excuse my lack of skill with a camera.

I can't imagine a lady needing an open comb (they are more agressive), but if it works for your purposes (and it looks like it would be a decent shaver), use it. It appears to be in excellent condition except for the engraving. If your shaving skills are up to snuff yet, try it out and let us know how it shaves (I would not recommend open comb razors for noobs).

For the record, I am new here but I have been using a DE for many years when I can find blades.

I have loaded it up with a Gillette Blue Extra that I purchased from Suna. The blade fits square both sides. I have been mainly using straights for the last three months or so but will have to try this one out tomorrow morning.

Shaved with it this morning. BBS in three and touch ups. It was far less aggressive than I had anticipated, unfortunately. This one will probably find it`s way to the shelf.
