I got my Myrsol Formula K the other day and gave it a try yesterday. First, it does smell a little like mouthwash. Actually, in the bottle, it smells just like Scope. But that's not bad. It's a very true peppermint scent that is very refreshing when splashed on. The scent dissipates very quickly which is great for those who want to wear a cologne or need to avoid strong fragrances at the office. The menthol is great. It doesn't floor you with a powerful initial face freeze. Instead it's a nice gentle cooling sensation that lasts for several minutes before finally fading away. It also makes my skin feel great. No strong alcohol burn and just enough moisturizing for warm weather. It's a great product. This is going to be a great aftershave for the hot summer months!

+1 It comes across as something of an herbal peppermint to me. Doesn't remind me of candy or sweets or anything like that. Mouthwash..... a little..... but not too much.
