My Vie Long Two Band Showed up!

So after a long time, i finally got a Vie Long Super/White badger dos bandas! Its the Vie Long 16650 and was at awesome price for July 4th. I truly do love my SOC 2Band and wanted another one. This thing is a looker with 24mm knot with a 53mm loft. Almost the same dimensions as my SOC. Can't wait to test lather and actually use it for my shave tomorrow morning. +1, they have that Handle available for the Horse knots as well. I think they have ~5-6 new styles available. with the stock lofts & received them in 7 business days. The Natural Horse feels very soft out of the box, I think they are using a different processing method since the scritch is a bit more relaxed. The handles are actually triangular cut and feel very comfortable in my hand.

Also this is my third two band I bought and don't let this thing fool you. It actually surprises you b/c this brush is mad soft. It is a bit less dense than what it needs to be but I wasn't complaining after loading it and face lathering EJ Sea Buckthorn. The lather was quite smooth and thick. If the loft was shorter you can lather soft soaps a little easier but has no problem with other products!

Luis, after your pretty post of the 16651, I wanted one lol! Do you think it should be packed with more hair b/c I feel like a little more would make it perfect! Any maybe the loft reduced by 2m! What do you think?

Yeah, I used to have 13061 which was an awesome handle but I sold it off b/c I wasn't using my Natural Horse SB as much. But this handle is just beautiful. Feels very comfortable and happy I chose this one! I think its resin but if a horn handle was made in this same shape and color, man oh man that would be the most luxurious shaving brush!

I believe the amount of hair has just .. allows an airflow impressive, makes a lot of quality foam and very little time mine is 24x55, maybe have a little more air flow than yours, nothing major, is a big shot with a hair brush of high quality

I have to say it again: IMO, Vie-Long makes some of the nicest looking handles. Different from the traditional look that Simpson is all about, but not crazy and ultra-futuristic either. I love them.
