My Toggle should arrive on Monday...patience!

I won a Toggle on the bay last week for $122 plus shipping and it should arrive Monday. I can't wait to get it...will be my first!

I know it is hard waiting for a Toggle and it is more than just a feeling. There is a little known subset of equations that appear in Einstein's theory of relativity, originally stated mathematically, it was later expressed as follows “...the passage of time to the potential arrival date of an object is inversely proportional to how cool it is while something dreaded will come roaring at you like a freight train ....”.

The Toggle was one razor I had written off as one that I would never get. Well low and behold up on shelf there it sat in a small town Antique store. Picked it up. Flipped the tag over and seen the price and pretty much had the same look on my face that Dr Frankenstein had when he realized his creature was alive. Best 7 bucks I ever spent. Mine is in the same shape as the OP's. Gold plating worn off but still in good order. Well at least I think it is. The adjustment plate moves around a little. Not sure if thats normal or not. I might get it replated in Rhodium.

If the movement you are observing is rotational then yes that is usually normal. As the doors close and tighten it corrects the plate position.
Oh, congrats on the great find. Bet you had to look in the rear view mirror as you drove away to see if the cops were in pursuit....lol

Yep that's what it does. Good to know its not broken. Now if only I could be so lucky to find a bottom dial in the wild! If that would happen...might be a good time to play the lottery too! LOL!
