That's a great looking razor Luc. I use the same technique you do with a sponge. Mine is covered in terry cloth, and I get them in the automotive section of the local dollar store.

The sponge works well indeed, the cloth is awesome to keep the blade dry!

The Fontenille is a great shaver, one of the smoothest!

Got a new one that I will research soon but didn't start yet. Johnmrson was very nice to leave this one with me.

Yes, it's another Bengall by T.R. Cadman. Stamped Ward Bros. Melbourne. Full Concave.

The heel is interesting but a PITA to hone. I will probably need to regrind that heel...

Thanks Gents! Yes, I don't think I ever saw one like that... It's a complete opposite to a shoulderless straight... Like any Bengall that I honed, it was easy and the straight is a great shaver!
