My straight razor storage solution.

So i found myself Needing to address storage of my burgeoning collection of straight razors and was determined to use nothing but what I had lying around the house. Ive seen pics of straights just standing in a clump in a shaving mug. but on the other side of the spectrum, the storage boxes I've seen are $150 pieces of wood with a glass top. So I dug out a cigar box and some six foot lengths of pine molding I've had in my shed for awhile (and used in three projects thus far...love this stuff) and came up with this.

(I put in the spacers at the bottom to leave room for silica packs and straight cases.)

Cigar boxes come in so handy!! Many uses i've seen around here for them thus far.

That's a great idea with the molding. So simple, but elegant.

I know that this is an aged thread but I would think twice in putting felt in the box especially if the razor will contact it. Felt has been known to rust steel if left in contact. Something in the dye or processing.
