Bought a vintage Star DE off ebay cause I want to try out a milder three piece razor than my Merkurs.

Came in the mail today. Got it out of packaging, was admiring it, took the cap off, in great condition for a vintage DE. Very pretty. Was screwing the thing back together when it slipped out of my fingers, and broke on the kitchen floor. The cap stem broke off in the handle.

No mild DE razors for me I guess. My new razor went straight into the trash.

Got on a "Schick kick" this month and snapped apart an L and a M model to clean more thoroughly - but I did keep them as parts sets and a painful reminder!
