My second razor

I finished grinding my second razor yesterday. It is the same shape as my first one, so I wire wrapped the handle to distinguish them a little bit. I hope you like it.

With my 8/8 Henckel's for scale:


I still have to set the bevel, and finish honing it. But if it shave's as well as my fist on RAD could be replaced with TSAD(tool steel AD). I have my next razor idea, I just have to learn to use the mill at work..... And finish a couple rescales I've been putting off.....

I'm considering a sealer over the wire, at least near the blade, to keep water out. Any idea's?

Wow. Stunning.

Shellac or varnish the wire, (Or CA glue). It probably doesn't need the treatment though.
