Same here. Seen it more times than I can count.

Thats what happens to me every time I think about rewatching something. It runs through my head line by line and I can see it all so I dont bother turning it on.

Thinking about it though, I could rewatch Casino...

Exactly. And there's still so many films I haven't seen yet. That's why I've not re-watched anything for a year to two now but that means there are some exceptional films that I've only seen once. Good enough to deserve more than that, especially when I sometimes end up watching something mediocre, like last night - Pet Sematary. Not bad but not great either.

Still, it get's made up for. A few days ago I watched Cocoon. Not the eighties classic, but a German coming of age drama about a girl who collects caterpillars.

I watched it 4 or 5 years ago most recently and it's as fresh in my mind as if I'd watched it yesterday. That's what makes great films great. They stay with you, vividly.

I think of those Scorsese/De Niro collaborations as producing two great trilogies. The mob dramas, Mean Streets, Goodfellas and Casino. And the loner/psychopath films - Taxi Driver, The King Of Comedy and Cape Fear. I'd like to see Ken Burns make a documentary about Martin Scorsese's films.

I like the 1989 version of Pet Semetary the most.

I'd like to see Scorsese do a docu on Scorsese movies hahaha.

You might have a look at The North Water if you're not watching it. I'm really liking that show. The accents are so thick I need subtitles haha. Colin Farrell is fantastic.

Homo homini lupus.

I'll do that, thanks. I've just chcked it out and seen Jack O'Connell is in it too. Looks good.

It's been nice to watch first rate actors in TV drama in recent years. I've just finished Time. Sean Bean at his best.
