Hello all, first review-y post. Placed an order for the Queen Charlotte Soaps sample pack and they arrived today! Here is the box

Looks like it could hold a cd, I put the scissors beside it as a frame of reference. (I turned the box upside down to hide the addresses etc)

Opening of the box, everything seems to be well packed, packing slip on top.

There are the samples, in a sandwich bag tied off with a twist tie surrounded by crumpled brown bag paper. For shipping these samples (hard little containers) this is certainly sufficient.

Here are the five samples I ordered, two Vostoks, Tangerine, Key lime and a Old Spice. (If you look closely, there is a Vostok and Vetiver, instead of 2 Vostoks, I've sent an email to Matthew just to let him know, to me it's not a biggie as I was going to give the extra Vostok to my brother).

Here is the Vostok on my finger (I face lather). It has the consistancy of Vaseline, and sorta has that same off white, yellowy colour. I used about two of these on my face.

Here is the product on my face. Like I mentioned, it's a little firm, like vaseline/lip balm.

I kept my brush a little wetter than usual. I used the Vostok and BOY IS IT COLD. It lathers IMO better than the KMF (which lathers quite well in it's own right). I did the usual 3 pass shave and my face was numb! Next time I think I will start off with another scent, and maybe just end with the Vostok. After shaving I washed off my face, and it was still cold and plenty refreshing, no aftershave or anything needed. As for moisturizing, it moisturizes a little, not as much as the KMF, but it is there a little. Shipping was quick, arrived in about a week and a half, from US to Canada, so that's good. Overall I would recommend these creams.
