My Proraso Lather: How's It Look?

Following up on my post about Proraso from a few days ago:

Marco suggested I use a bit more product and spend more time working the brush. I also used a little less water than with the lather shown in my previous photo. I think I did pretty well today, and I was rewarded with another great Proraso shave.

So, how does my lather look to you veterans?

To me that looks very thick and creamy the way I like mine, not foamy and light like when I started out. And OMG how much soap did you use for that? That looks like a LOT! The real test is how does it shave compared to your previous lather?

It was easily enough product for a seven pass shave instead of my usual three passes plus touch-up. I was determined to whip up a photo-worthy batch of lather. My last batch still shaved well, but this was even better.

Much better. Once you get the sweet spot of a soap or cream, it becomes much easier to build consistent lather.

Good grief, that looks like enough for a 70 pass shave! Lather looks great though.

My lather bowl is actually much smaller than it looks. I didn't really waste that much product, but it was worth it to get photos that garner such praise from the experts here at B&B.
