My new two bowls

I'm a new user of Badger&Blade so, hi everybody. I'm new to wet shaving and I hope that it can give me comfortable shave.

I catch the occasion to show you two objects that i found these days. I found this chinese pot[1] at home and it became my bowl or I should say one of my bowls because today I found this one[2] in a fair, an olive wood bowl.

Thank you and I think it is also practical, perhaps the other one is too small. Just I don't know if I should deal the wood, maybe with flatting.

I found the chinese bowl at home, it should be of my mother or one of my grandparents and i took the wooden bowl from a three days fair. I could not say how much it is artisanal or industrial.

The wood bowl looks handturned. Make sure you treat it to a nice coating of butcher's wax if it is.

It looks to be a better size for lathering, and please get it coated if not already.
