My new toy

I got my Sledge Hammer in the mail Saturday evening and I like this thing. I got a smooth shave with a feather blade in it that had three shaves on it already. I did nick myself, but after my face called down I had a very smooth shave. I still get good shaves with my 38c ,but this was smoother. It wasn't all hype! I can trim my sideburns up with this too. Hell ....after shaving with this razor I look like I'm back in high school and I'm in my 50's.

Sounds like you've found an everyday shaver for yourself. Its probably going to take a few shaves to get used to this new one, but once you get the technique of it down things will settle down. Just take your time and enjoy your new toy.

I still like my 38C. I had to watch my angle more with the 39C which I like. It keeps me more alert. The razor burn I got was very minimal, but that was my fault. I have a tendency keep shaving when I'm loosing lubrication. I get a nice smooth soft shave from both, but the 39C is smoother.
