My New, Small Brush

I picked this little guy up on eBay a few days ago:

proxy.php

The label says "MADE IN ENGLAND, STERILIZED".

Upon receiving it I discovered that it was very small and, apparently, unused. With some use it's breaking in nicely and has lost most of its pig smell.

Is this a recognizable model to anyone?

It's a Culmak.

Looks like a travel brush.

I have 2; one white and burgundy and one like yours:

The burgundy one is a Culmak and the other one looks identical, but only only says made in England and sterilized on the bottom.

Bingo!

As soon as I held it, it became obvious that it was a travel size brush. Since mine is apparently unused and working to my satisfaction, I'll use the boar knot that's in it.

I was a little amused to note that the label describes it as "sterilized" while the underside molded in legend is "sterilised" (British English spelling).

Thanks everyone.

Mine worked fine with the boar bristle (one was a bit scruffy), but works very well now (I like smaller brushes)

Happy to help:001_smile
