The M7 handle gives great control when loading and lathering. I love seeing the various ideas expressed in it-nice brush.

so got my new brush in the mail today and couldn't wait to get home to try the puppy out. I get home crack open the box and proceed with my nightly shave ritual. I fill my shave mug up and drop my new RV brush in it to soak while i hop in the shower. I load my merkur 180 with a fresh feather blade and proceed with my usual uberlather, tonight it was MWF + TOBS coconut shave cream+ glycerin. I usually rub on some proraso white pre shave, but in the hurry i was to get to the lather making, i forgot. I then proceed to give my customary 2 shakes to get off excess water and go to town. Man i got to say this brush soaks and holds a lot more water than my best badger EJ brush that im used to, which i didnt notice till i started whipping up my lather. By the time i noticed my lather was already extra bubbly and watered down. But at this point i really wanted to see how the brush felt against my face, and again in my excitement i decided to just take the brush and lather to my face. However by the time i realize it, my face is already burning with razor burn. So my common sense finally caught up with me, and i decided to just start over with my lather and was more aware and gave the brush a few extra shakes to get my lather to a good consistency.

Well lesson of the night is, slow down, even though your excited about a new toy your AD has brought home. Oh well, nothing a little captains choice bay rum and nancy boy facial moisturizer couldnt fix.

Anyhow here are some pics of the brush in all its blooming glory. Also a pic of my initials rudy engraved for me on the bottom of the handle, actually is really nice since i hang dry it in a stand.

Whenever I look at RV's brushes, my eyes are forever drawn to the outstanding handles and not the loft.
Amazing handicraft and creativity!

That is a very nice Brush.
I had Rudy do a restore for me many moons ago and he did a great job, one day I will get a custom from him and it may look similar to yours.
