Just got my Kent BK8 in the mail today and could not wait to put it to good use! My initial impression is very positive. The only other brush I have to compare it to is my Savile Row 3824. A few observations; this brush has VERY soft tips, there is zero scritch and the "cloud-like" feeling is spot on. I think this is an ideal bowl lathering brush. While it may be do a great job face lathering for some (and I do feel its 'mop' characteristics are far overblown), it is absolutely top of the line for bowl lathering. Now onto the shave...

I used far less cream with this brush than my SR3824. It whipped up twice the lather with half the product. I had easily enough lather for 5 passes.
